1. About Charmi

These terms apply to charmi.us, charmi.es and the services offered on them by Charmi L.L.C. (“Charmi”, “we”, “us”), a company based in Miami, Florida, United States.

2. Using this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You're welcome to browse, share links and quote short parts with attribution. Please don't try to disrupt the site, copy it in bulk or misuse our contact channels.

3. Charmi Layouts

Charmi Layouts are custom stream overlays for OBS Studio and other apps that support browser sources. A layout reads data from a supported emulator running on your own computer and shows it on your stream, such as your team, HP, levels, badges, location and money.

Each layout is built for a specific game, emulator and platform, as agreed with you by email before you pay.

4. Orders, payment and delivery

• Ordering. You order by email. Before you pay, we confirm your game, emulator, platform and design in writing.
• Price. Prices are one-time prices per layout in US dollars, as shown on the streamers page when you order, and confirmed by email. Your bank or payment provider may add its own fees or taxes.
• Payment. We send you a payment link. Work starts once payment is received.
• Delivery. We deliver your layout as a browser-source link with setup instructions, and we help you set it up.
• Changes. Adjustments within the scope we agreed are included before delivery. A different game, platform or new features count as a new order.
• Refunds. If we can't make your layout work with the game and emulator we confirmed before payment, we refund you in full. Because each layout is custom work made to your specifications, other refunds are at our discretion once work has started. Consumers in the European Union keep any rights that local law doesn't allow to be waived.

5. Games, ROMs and emulators

You must own the games you play and obtain them legally. Charmi harnesses and Charmi Layouts require each user to supply their own legally obtained copy of every game. We never provide, sell or link to ROMs, BIOS files or any other copyrighted game files, and we won't help you obtain them.

Layouts need an emulator running on your streaming PC; they don't read original consoles. We confirm emulator support for your specific game before you pay, especially for Nintendo 3DS games.

6. Your content and designs

If you send us logos, artwork or a design made by you or your designer, you confirm that you have the right to use it, and you give us permission to use it to build your layout. You keep ownership of your content. We only show your finished layout in our portfolio with your permission.

7. Intellectual property and trademarks

Charmi is an independent company, not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and all related names, characters, artwork, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear on this site only to identify and describe the games our work is compatible with. Game screenshots and sprites are shown for illustration.

The Charmi name and logo, this website, our software and the layout system (including the bridge that reads game memory) belong to Charmi L.L.C. When you buy a layout, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on your own streams and videos. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the layout or its code.

8. Demos, sample data and AI research

Live demos, team panels and numbers shown on this site use sample data unless we say otherwise. Our AI harness projects are research: results described here reflect our own runs and may change over time.

9. Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. Games, emulators, OBS and streaming platforms change over time and can break compatibility. We'll make reasonable efforts to help, but we can't guarantee that a layout will keep working with every future version. Nothing on this site is professional, legal or financial advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charmi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue, lost viewers or actions taken by third-party platforms. Our total liability for any claim related to a layout is limited to the amount you paid for that layout. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Third-party services

We link to and rely on services we don't control, such as Twitch, YouTube, X, GitHub, OBS Studio, payment providers and Google Analytics. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Orders are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.
